Aransas County Courthouse
The Aransas County Courthouse included the new construction of a two-story, cast-in-place concrete structure located in the heart of downtown Rockport, Texas. The 45,000-square-foot facility was built on an active site that also housed two additional construction projects running concurrently. The new Courthouse accommodates the municipal courts and offices for all county departments, providing a consolidated and resilient civic center for the community.
The project was designed in collaboration with the adjacent Rockport City Hall, which was constructed by Teal Construction at the same time, creating a cohesive civic campus. Architecturally, the building features a blend of brick, stucco, wood, tile, and clay roofing, combining durability with regional character. The facility was engineered to withstand Category 5 hurricane conditions, ensuring continued operation during extreme weather events.
