BARC Animal Adoption Center

BARC Animal Adoption Center

The 15,000 SF building houses indoor and outdoor dog runs, dog adoption kennels (20 adult dogs and 50-60 puppies), shell of the cat adoption space, and administrative offices. The design of the new facility was customer driven to elevate their experience in the adoption process. The entry foyer has a beautiful art installation made of dog leashes and the lobby is flooded with natural light. A dog park and courtyard were constructed in the back of the building allowing a place for the prospective owners to play with their new pets. BARC will set the standards for the surrounding city and state shelters. The new campus incorporates American Kennel Club standards including ample amounts of natural light. The completion of this facilty will be the first of four phases for BARC. The other phases will provide additional adult dog spaces, interior build-out of the cattery, meeting and education building, and a spay/neuter clinic.
