The 21,000 SF project consists of two buildings for an artist community. The buildings house art galleries, art classrooms and instruction areas as well as performing arts studios. There are multi-purpose rooms where the center can be rented out for events by the community. The two buildings are positioned to block harsh sunlight in an open courtyard that is a setting for sculpture art and gardens. The buildings have skylights to filter natural light into the spaces. The exterior and interior envelope are built with natural materials with muted colors to not compete with the surrounding art.
