Texas Bay Area Credit Union - Houston

Texas Bay Area Credit Union - Houston

The unique form of the building involves exterior elements such as the double height entry and the slanted roof over the main building that distinguish this bank from the rest. The materiality of the building includes cast stone brick and metal panels that can be seen on both exterior and interior planes. The exposed glulam beams in the lobby of bank tie-in the wood veneer walls and custom millwork. A graphic mural of Houston’s history adorned the interior walls including shots from the Astrodome, Houston Rodeo, NASA space shuttles and other pertinent events in our city’s history. The facility also has a four lane drive thru.
