Eco Park II

Eco Park II

The new facility includes 2,200 covered parking spacing and a new administration building for the airport employees. The construction included approximately 750,000 SF of new paving, demolition of existing paving and building on site, erection of metal canopies for covered parking, and a new administration building. The new administration building was built with insulated concrete form (ICF) block walls. The advantages of the ICF block include energy efficiency, structural strength, sound absorption, fire protection, indoor air quality and environmental sensitivity. ICF construction is made for hurricane-prone areas and mixed climate environment which makes it an excellent choice for the Houston region. The new parking facility will also be used for oversized vehicles such as campers and large trucks giving the customers more alternatives when traveling.
