  • BIM

    Teal Construction’s preconstruction division have members with BIM capabilities and we build this team to help focus our design build and construction manager at risk projects. The BIM software allows Teal to identify project obstacles before they hit the jobsite helping with the quality control in the preconstruction phase. Our knowledge of BIM offers Teal avenues to tighten estimates, provide value engineering, build submittals/shop drawings, and identify scope conflicts to provide a smoother construction phase.

  • SmartBid

    In our preconstruction services we utilize SmartBid to distribute construction documents to our subcontractors. This software helps Teal keep all aspects of the preconstruction phase in one location and build reports to see who views our projects, how many subcontractors are bidding, MWSBE subcontractor percentages and verify scopes of work for the project. We utilize the software to deliver quality control in the preconstruction phase which in result provides the client with a transparent bidding system.

  • Sage Timberline

    Timberline is a popular program in the construction industry that we have utilized for many years; all of our office staff are extremely proficient in its use. It compiles all project specifics in one central database, with customized inquiries and reports. It allows us to quickly get to the details that will identify issues before they grow into problems. We can stay on top of subcontracts and performance, effectively manage change orders, and compare actual costs against budgets. Additionally, it gives project managers live, up-to-the-minute cost and project detail for aid in solid decision-making while keeping track of RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders. It eliminates workflow redundancies and saves time.

  • Field Lens

    Understanding what is happening daily on a project is important to both our Clients and Project Management team, FieldLens is a daily reporting cloud-based program that allows our Superintendents to post daily reports.  The reports have progress pictures, manpower, daily activities, weather and more providing our team with up to date coverage of your project.

  • Sharefile

    This cloud based software helps all of Teal’s staff to distribute files to clients, design teams, and subcontractors. The system stores, syncs and delivers our project documents securely to all related parties. Sharefile keeps all team members connected and communication flowing.

  • CPM Scheduling Software

    Teal Construction implements Microsoft Project Critical Path and/or Primavera software for project scheduling and tracking. It is designed to assist project managers in developing plans, assigning resources to tasks, tracking progress, managing budgets and analyzing workloads. The application creates critical path schedules that can be resource leveled, and chains are visualized in a Gantt chart. This incorporates all phases of work, contractors and owner’s, necessary for the client to obtain the intended facilities within the required time. The development of these programs have given Teal project management the ability to provide reports to owners and the executive team such as cash flow analysis, completed and uncompleted tasks, and identify resources for each task.

  • Talon

    As an American Building Representative, we utilize Talon software for bidding, designing, and providing clients with presentation quality drawings. Talon is an industry leading proprietary design, pricing and specify system used by our estimating team and preconstruction managers. The ability to have this software in-house puts Teal ahead of our competition in the pre-manufactured metal building industry.
