Seashore Learning Center was a new multi-building campus for pre-k through 2nd grade children located on Padre Island.  Construction was a slab on grade with wood framing, pre-engineered wood trusses and asphalt shingle roof. A covered walkway and student drop off areas were also included.  Due to the environment the building is located in, the building was wrapped in Hardie siding, and utilized treated timbers and stainless steel fasteners.  All utilized one central lighting control system for both interior and exterior lighting, to help aid in energy conservation. The buildings will be used for, day care, class rooms, teachers work rooms, break rooms, and conference rooms.
