O'Donnell Middle School Gymnasium

O'Donnell Middle School Gymnasium

The 11,895 square foot gymnasium building was an addition to O’Donnell Elementary School campus. The project consisted of a new stand-alone gymnasium, multiple locker rooms, faculty offices, storage, and covered sidewalks connecting the building back to the main campus. The gymnasium has a full court basketball court with multiple other retractable goals on the perimeter, full height curtain to separate the gymnasium into private courts, and retractable bleachers. The interior of the gymnasium sports the color red for the school’s colors. The exterior envelope is brick with the signature red roof that is the District’s aesthetic. This was one of four gymnasium additions, part of a multi-building contract with Alief ISD.
