FIRE STATION WORK RESUMES

Construction work on the City of Huntsville's H.B. Toney Memorial Fire Station No. 4 has been under way for two months, but bad weather has slowed the process for general contractor Teal Construction of Houston and subcontractors. Although water was standing in some areas from last week's rain, Monday was the first day in several days that workers were able to get into the site off 1619 State Highway 30 East and install a waterline and conduct surveys. The station will house Huntsville firefighters and Huntsville-Walker County EMS personnel.
