Workers lay masonry for the H.B. Toney Memorial Fire Station Number Four Tuesday afternoon. The 9,000 square-foot fire station, funded by a $2.15 million bond issue in 2007, will house two fire trucks, a firefighter crew, and new head offices for Huntsville-Walker County EMS, along with an ambulance bay and bunk areas for firefighters and emergency medical technicians. The station, off state Highway 30 East, was designed by Joiner Partnership and is being built by general contractor Teal Construction.
