The Katy ISD South Transportation Center Expansion was the construction of three buildings on the existing campus. The project included a new maintenance building, day care center, transportation offices, bus maintenance building, and an expansion to the existing fuel building with a new bus washing area. The largest building is a 20,360 square foot tilt-wall with class A structural steel maintenance facility that can handle up to 13 school buses at one time. The project added five acres of paving for bus and vehicle parking.
